Paper transactions are hypothetical, theoretical transactions.  If you have never traded currency on Forex real time, you will do many transactions on paper. The advantage of real time Forex trading is that a novice trader begins to understand the trading foundations on international currency market. These transactions are usually done by opening a demo account provided by a broker that provides real-time pricing data and a hypothetical balance. Using a demo account you can buy and sell currency pairs like in a real account of foreign transactions. Gains and losses are reflected in the hypothetical account balance. After a while, the one who traded notices that he accumulated large gains in a short time.   There are sites where you can find a list of the earnings (dividends announced), where you can make a selection of companies depending on their financial results as well as several websites that provide graphics and quotes of traded companies.
